The Lattice Veranda | Layton Castle


As soon as we arrived, my couple - Zachary and Sujata- knew they wanted to start here. The white lattice veranda would serve as the perfect backdrop for a wedding. With beautiful greenery surrounding it, the veranda sits at the end of a gorgeous pavilion area with a fountain right in the middle. We were able to get several timeless images of Sujata and Zachary with the veranda.

The Arch | Layton Castle


Breathtaking landscaping and gardens surround the property giving it such a romantic feel. We came back to this area a couple of times because we kept noticing these stunning pink blooms! I knew I had to incorporate them into some in some way and they ended up being some of my favorite images of the session!

The other arch


It's a little off the beaten path, but on the opposite side of where the veranda sits, is a small trail that definitely gives "secret garden" vibes. Just in this small path there is an abundance of photo opportunities! The path itself is surrounded by winding trees that create an arch above where small peeks of sunlight come through. several benches line the walkway and at the end stands another stunning arch covered in greenery. I think my heart skipped a beat when I laid eyes on it!

old majestic trees and castles


The two pictures featured above were actually taken in the same area on the property. From one position, you have the gorgeous castle as your backdrop and on the other side, you have huge majestic trees - you can't get better than that! The field area between the trees and the house is pretty large, offering another perfect location for a wedding! Plus, no matter how you situate your guests, they will have pretty spectacular view.

The Portico


If you love unique architecture and design, you are sure to love Layton Castle. The portico is made of beautiful red brick, giant pillars, tall romantic arches, and a fantastic staircase with remarkable iron railing.
